Overview
RAMe SD Encoder is among the most compact, power-efficient, full-featured MPEG2 & AVC/H.264 Encoder with broadcast
professional quality encoding. Its greatest feature is support of multiple codec either MPEG-2 or AVC/H.264 within the same unit simultaneously. By offering a configuration of up to eight channels in a 1U/19” rack mount unit, operators can provide multiple, feature-rich services utilizing less space than required in a traditional head-end.
The encoder supports PAL or NTSC video input and audio signal can be analog audio. The output can be MPEG IP that meets DVB TS stream standard and IP data standard. The product is ideal for a broad range of applications including contribution and distribution.
